PERMANENT EYELINER | LASH ENHANCEMENT
Permanent Eyeliner or a Lash Enhancement can seriously simplify your beauty routine. Combine that with beautifully Microbladed eyebrows and a girl is ready to go at a moment's notice.
Permanent Eyeliner comes in a variety of styles from a subtle lash enhancement to a 1950s inspired winged liner. It is important to have an idea of the eyeliner you are interested in. Our artists can help with guidance, but will create inspiration from your desired look.
Lash Enhancement/ Eyeliner is great for thin or sparse lashes, those clients with poor eyesight that makes it difficult to apply makeup, have common allergies or irritations to makeup, and lets face it, some of us are not gifted with makeup application skills.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE LIKE?
High quality cosmetic pigments are implanted just below the epidermis with a permanent makeup machine (digital, coil or rotary). At Aesthetic Finesse we use LI Pigments, which have been a high grade pigment line for 27 years. These pigments age beautifully in both eyebrows and eyeliners. There are a variety of colors to choose from; black, browns, charcoal grey, amethyst. The procedure can take between 45 minutes and 2 hours, depending on desired look, thickness, and the anatomy of the eye. At Aesthetic Finesse we use numbing agents that are safe to apply around the eye and help to ease comfort.
HEALING | WHAT TO EXPECT
You should expect your eyes to be a little swollen and red the day of your appointment. You can ice the area for 10 minutes every hour, just be sure not to let moisture get onto the eyes. Swelling can last up to 36 hours after, but most clients see swelling decrease within 24 hours. The surface pigment will begin to flake away somewhere between 4 and 8 days after your appointment. Some skin types will notice the liner looks as if it has disappeared after the surface pigment flakes away. What causes this is the surface layers of the skin are healing. These healing cells are opaque, making it difficult to see the liner just below. After natural exfoliation occurs the pigment will be visible again. At 4 weeks post procedure, you will be ready for your touch up!
